Crisis in Agriculture
MP Inky Mark has been very busy in Ottawa pushing to have the Government recognize the farm income crisis in western Canada. He has participated in the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Agriculture, has voiced concerns in the House of Commons — including concerns with the dismal AIDA program, has participated in the former Canadian Alliance task force to create real solutions to the agriculture crisis, and has participated side-by-side with local farmers in rallies and forums in the Dauphin-Swan River and neighbouring constituencies in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
