Farm Rallies

In the Dauphin Swan River Marquette and neighbouring constituencies, Inky Mark has stood side-by-side agriculture producers in a number of farm rallies designed to bring the farm crisis to the attention of the government. In June of 1999, Inky and other Reform MPs addressed over 2200 people at the local arena in Melita Manitoba. In August, he was driving a tractor as part of a rally on the Trans-Canada Highway just west of Virden Manitoba. Over 450 people and 300 vehicles participated to slow down traffic and bring attention to the farm income crisis. Inky returned to Virden for rallies in the spring and fall of 2000.

Whenever farmers legally gather to protest the Liberal government's lack of enthusiasm in providing for Canada's agricultural industry, MP Inky Mark will add his voice in support. Check Inky's calendar of events, then contact one of the constituency offices to let them know if you are planning to hold a forum or rally.
